Most membersofMy Hero Academia'sdiverse cast are immaculately fleshed out; their goals, their temperaments, their hopes, dreams, and absurdities are all combined to create characters that are as relatable as they are authentic.More importantly, while all of them share a few features across the board, each of themhas a patently unique identity.

The Zodiac becomes an interesting, if subjective, mode tolabel and organize My Hero Academia characters according to their overarching personality traits. There are dozens upon dozens of side characters in the series, but some aren't quite as developed and emotionally open as others.
Aries: Ochaco Uraraka

First introduced in the second episode of the series, Ochaco Uraraka comes across as a delightfully upbeat and optimistic girl who is secretly worried about her own shortcomings. Desperate to prove herself and to become a pro hero for the sack of her family, she's unquestionably determined, but it takes some time for her to come out of her shell.
Training under the pro hero Gunhead helps to build her self-confidence, and she soon excels as one of Class 1-A's most promising students despite the fact that her Quirk isn't well suited for combat.
Taurus: Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu Asui, who officially goes by Froppy, is probably the hardest-working member of her class. In fact, she spends most of her childhood caring for her younger siblings, and that's something that reflects in her academic life.
Tsuyu is an irrefutable Taurus; she's dedicated to her friends, she is extremely patient, and she is known to speak her mind regardless of what anyone else thinks. Though she doesn't get as much exposure as some of her U.A. classmates, she is of the most impactful My Hero Academiacharactersin the story.
Gemini: Tomura Shigaraki

Gemini isn't known for their ruthlessness, and, though he's the leader of the League of Villains, he exhibits a calm and reserved demeanor that allows him to excel among his many hot-headed compatriots. Much like the Shi Hassaikai leader Overhaul, Shigaraki's quiet nature should not be misconstrued as a weakness; he's a calculating, ambitious killer.

His showdown with Re-Destro shows just how maniacal he can be when need be, but, when he's looking out for his own, he's surprisingly caring. He looks out for his dangerously flawed friends, which is more than can be said for many My Hero Academia villains.
Cancer: All Might

All Might braves the horrors thrown at him with a smile because heis aware that the world depends on the heroic image he has cultivated over several decades.
As a Cancer, heplaces a high value onhis self-assigned task tosave everyone he can, knowing full well there is a limit to his protection. All Might is innately aware of others' intentions, which is why he doesn't think twice before offering Deku his One For All Quirk. He's also unrelentingly compassionate and protective over his young charge during his first year at U.A.
Leo: Mirio Togata

Mirio loves nothing more than the idea of becoming a hero, as most people born under the Leo sign tend to be. He is overwhelmingly confident, thoughtful, and compassionate, fighting on behalf of those who need his help the most. His confidence shouldn't be confused with arrogance, though, as he's one of the most down-to-earth students enrolled at U.A.
Mirio Togata'sassociation with Leo is even more evident in light of his often bizarre theatrics; however, making incomprehensible jokes to lighten the mood rarely plays out the way he wants it to.
Virgo: All For One

The Virgo sign is defined by vast reserves of intelligence and composure, which are also the only positive characteristics displayed by All For One.In addition, he is achronic perfectionist, explaining why eight generations of One For All holders have failed before his unyielding willpower and extraordinary strategies.

All For One has been manipulating people for over a hundred years, placing others in dangerous situations in order to protect himself. He's a master tactician and a skilled manipulator, but Virgins aren't without flaws, and his obsession with the self may well be his undoing.
Libra: Momo Yaoyorozu

Hailed as the most intelligent student in Class 1-A, there's no denying Yaoyorozu's outstanding intellect. Acing every test and leading her class in terms of academics, her smarts are as invaluable in the classroom as they are on the battlefield.
Beyond that, she displays a penchant for diplomacy typical of the sign. She was nearly elected class president in the beginning of the series, and she typically serves as the mediator and problem solver in times of crisis.
Scorpio: Endeavor

Endeavor is ambitious, intimidating, and combative, traits that are magnified tohyperbolic proportions because of his undying, unhealthy drive to be the very best. Although he isrecognized as a gold standard by other heroes, especially Hawks, Endeavor finds it difficult to look beyond his dream of surpassing All Might.
These attributes of the Scorpio sign represent his personality perfectly,as doeshisrecentlyrealizeddevotion to his family. Endeavor is finally on the path to redemptionin My Hero Academia, but it'shard to know if he'll manage to follow through.
Sagittarius: Katsuki Bakugo

Bakugo is raucous, vulgar, and has qualms about screeching at anyone who he thinks is "bothering him." That said, it is clear he simply doesn't possess the vocabulary to express his feelings, illustrating his Sagittarius nature.

Further, Bakugo isn't as reckless as he appears at first glance, but rather carefully considers every option available before rushing into battle.Unfortunately, his idea ofhonesty is a little too brutal for most people, and his fears of inadequacy proved to be near-fatal flaws early on in the series.
Capricorn: Shoto Todoroki

For all hisdeadpan rhetoric, Shoto Todoroki is actually a genuine personaccepting of the responsibilities that come with his Quirk, which is largely why he falls under the Sagittarius sign.
Like many in his generation,Shoto idolizes All Might and hopes to follow the latter's vision, albeit on his own terms. Another feature associated with this Zodiac sign is Shoto's remorseless vendetta against his father, whom he blames for ruining his family and his childhood.
Aquarius: Eraser Head

Being an Aquarius, Eraser Head isn't held back by the conventions and rules surrounding his status as a hero, preferring to stay true to hisexperiential knowledge over anyone else's insight.
This doesn't mean that he isn't open to broadening his horizons, either, given that he doesn't resist the opportunity to grow and better himself. Eraser Head isa hero in the truest sense of the word; he freely extendsa helping handwithout expecting anything in return.
Pisces: Izuku Midoriya

Izuku is the definition of empathy, often mirroring other people's emotions—usuallythrough an exaggerated display of waterworks. Nevertheless, it is this Pisceansensitivity andselflessness that makes himMy Hero Academia's chosen one.
The only problem is that Izuku burdens himself with too many responsibilities, forcing his friends and mentors to constantly remind him that self-care is as important as saving lives. Should he overcome these character defects, he'll doubtlessly be every bit the hero his mentor All Might once was.
